Dr. Mary-Magdalene Pedavoah is a Senior Lecturer and former HOD of Applied Chemistry at UTAS with 13+ years of academic and leadership expertise. Her career is defined by two core pillars: advancing green chemical solutions and fostering inclusive excellence in science.

Research: Green & Sustainable Chemistry, Environmental Remediation, and Eco-friendly Technologies.
Leadership: Former HOD (Applied Chemistry-UTAS); President, WiSTEM (UTAS)
Advocacy: Board Member of GEM Ghana; active member of OWSD, GCS, and the Women in Chemistry Network (WICN).
A widely published researcher and dedicated volunteer, Dr. Pedavoah integrates rigorous academic inquiry with high-impact community outreach to empower women and youth across Ghana. She is a powerful voice for Gender Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion and she dedicates her leadership to mentoring the youth.
