Provide education, healthcare and skills training for vulnerable children aged 4-18.The Centre for Child Development (CCD) is a child care institution under the Catholic Diocese of Navrongo-Bolgatanga, dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for vulnerable children. The Centre offers holistic care, including shelter, nutrition, healthcare, education, psychosocial support, and opportunities for personal growth, ensuring that every child is given the chance to thrive in a loving and protective environment.
Working in partnership with NABOCADO, the Centre serves as a transitional home for children, including those referred from the Mother of Mercy Babies Home, helping them progress from infancy into early childhood development and formal education. They also offer protection and advocacy against child abuse, child trafficking, streetizm, etc. Through the generosity of the Church, development partners, and individual supporters, the Centre continues to restore hope, protect children's rights, and invest in brighter futures for some of the most vulnerable children in northern Ghana.
